Feminism is Poison

|

President Donald J. Trump was nearly assassinated over the weekend. This historic event produced a cacophony of buzz on the internet across various social media platforms.

Much of the buzz surrounded the issue of women in positions of battle/warfare/protection. Two women were on the Secret Service detail surrounding President Trump.

Matt Walsh made the following observation:

There should not be any women in the Secret Service. These are supposed to be the very best, and none of the very best at this job are women. If there’s a woman doing a job like this, it 100 percent means that a more qualified male was passed over.”

I shared this because it makes sense and fights back against one of the central planks of the spirit of the age platform – feminism.

Feminism is poison!

This ideology has captured many women: “Anything you can do, I can do better!” That line from the Broadway musical Annie, Get Your Gun (1946) shows that feminism has been alive and kicking for years.

In fact, it goes all the way back to the first woman, Eve.

“Your desire shall be contrary to [or “toward”] your husband,

but he shall rule over you.” (Genesis 3:16 ESV)

This doesn’t mean that the woman desires her husband, which is good and right, but rather that she wants to assume his role.

This is a curse.

And pointing this out is akin to casting down that golden calf, grinding it into dust, mixing it with water, and forcing women to drink it (see Exodus 32:20).

Pointing out something so simple, that women should not be in positions of battle, is an act of love, not hatred.

Let’s play a little game, shall we? It’s called Is It More Loving.

Is it more loving to encourage women to “get out there” and raise their body count? Or to encourage her to save herself for one man, to be loved, protected, and cherished as a gift of God?

Is it more loving to encourage women to post cleavage shots on social media, vying for the attention of perverts? Or to saunter down the beach in little more than a few strips of cloth as you might find at a “gentleman’s club“? Or to encourage her to dress modestly, saving herself for one man, to be loved, protected, and cherished as a gift of God?

Is it more loving to encourage women to murder their unborn child so they can continue to have sex with whomever they wish (i.e., be taken advantage of by perverts)? Or to encourage her to nurture her children under the care of one man, to be loved, protected, and cherished as a gift of God?

Is it more loving to tell women that “anything men can do, they can do better”? If men can shoot firearms and fight other men with firearms, you go girls! You’re just as big, ugly, and mean as the men?

Or to encourage her to find a Godly man, to be loved, protected, and cherished as a gift of God?

What does God have to say about this?

“Likewise, wives, be subject to your own husbands, so that even if some do not obey the word, they may be won without a word by the conduct of their wives, when they see your respectful and pure conduct. Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear— but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious. For this is how the holy women who hoped in God used to adorn themselves, by submitting to their own husbands, as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord. And you are her children, if you do good and do not fear anything that is frightening.

Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered.”

1 Peter 3:1-7 (ESV) emphasis mine

If you think that I hate women for saying these things, then you should consult my wife to see whether she feels hated… or loved.

Do you think all women who hold to this Biblical view (see Scripture above) are somehow suffering from Stockholm syndrome or brainwashed into a cult? Should they “blink twice” if they need help?

Women cannot do anything a man can do. This is as obvious as the sun rising in the morning.

Conversely, men cannot do anything a woman can do.

Why do I bring this up? Because Satan (and the Left) would have you believe this is the case. You are not a woman; you are a “birthing person.” You are not beautiful; the deluded trans-dude in a dress is Miss USA (and Miss Nevada).

Can’t you see what you’ve bought into? You are consuming Satan’s lies as if they are delectable desserts… but it is poison.

My wife has one of the most fundamental and essential jobs on the planet, for the good of humanity and the Kingdom of God. She loves and cares for image-bearers of the Living God every single day. Is she weak? NO! It takes monumental strength of character, will, and yes, even physical strength to cultivate a home that reflects the Kingdom of God.

You may not see it because the enemy has blinded you, but you cannot take away the glory that rests on my wife. I see it, her church sees it, and God Almighty sees it.

Lay down your feminism. Repent, trust Christ, and obey His Word.
